Rhinestones for Bike

by Sharon

I was wondering if anyone knows where you can get rhinestones and the glue to adhere on your motorcycle. I would like to bling out my bike but I am having no luck in finding where I can buy them or even have someone do it.

Rhinestones for Our Bikes
by: Sharon

Thanks everyone for your comments, but I got with my local Harley dealer and the service dept told me where to go and what to do and my Bike looks awesome. I will post a picture of it this weekend. If you have a Harley store by you go to the service dept and tell them you want the rhinestones they use for the Dawn package on the Bikes.

Thanks again!

Rhinestone on My Bike
by: DeVon

Sharon, I glued Swarovski crystals ON my bike and they are lasting very well. I used Gem-Tac glue for mine. I got the idea from this website

Rhinestones for Bike

I have a question to everyone that uses the self adhesive dots and rhinestones, how long have you had these on your helmet and bike, do they hold up to the weather and washing of your bike, I just don't want them to start coming off.

Bling on My Lid
by: Teri

I picked up various sizes of rhinestones from my local dollar store then affixed them to my helmet with adhesive dots that I picked up in the scrapbook section of a department store. They have stayed on with no problem and I have gotten so many compliments. I also used some left over stones on my bags to dress them up :)

Scrapbooking Dept at Hobby Lobby
by: Chickapea in Tennessee

Hey Sharon...
I don't know if you have a Hobby Lobby store where you live, but you could Google it on the computer and see if there's a location near you. In the Scrapbooking Dept. they sell very pretty self adhesive rhinestones, in most colors and sizes. I bought a sheet of clear ones, about 25-30 per sheet - they range in size from about 1/4 inch to a tad bit larger. I have used them on my helmet and bike to cover up blah allen head screws, etc. I have also put some deep rich red ones on my red and black helmet - they look really sharp! They stay fixed quite well... just be a little gentle when washing your bike or helmet, or whatever you decide to "bling out". Good Luck & have fun!

Rhinestones
by: Anonymous

I used self adhesive rhinestone swirls and studs purchased on ebay and Walmart in the scrapbook area. Press firmly and they stay on a long time. To remove loosen with a fingernail and use alcohol to remove glue. No damage to paint and you can redesign anytime

Bling a Bike

Check out e-bay or Walmart for the self adhesive rhinestones in the scrapbooking area. I put some on my bike and they held up very well. I used rhinestone swirls and maroon rhinestone studs to accent the tip of swirl.

Hmmm?
by: Julie

I was thinking maybe checking out a cosmetic and tattoo parlour. Also I know you can get rhinestones that go on cell phones..Maybe even talk to a dealer who does custom paint and detailing. Just be wary because the glue in the sun may drip, just thinking about the paint..Good luck and happy riding:)
