Raingear

by Billie

Do they make leathers that are waterproof or have liners that are? OR, in reverse, do they make Raingear that is extra warm with liners? LOOKING for an all in one...warm, cool, waterproof AND stylish!

I use Frogg Toggs. They are relatively inexpensive. Mine are navy blue. They are warm but not stylish. However, I don't think there is gonna be a lot of raingear that you can get that is going to be real "stylish". I have driven quite a while in the Frogg Toggs and have not gotten wet. Buy one size larger so your jacket and can go underneath the Frogg Toggs. Go ahead and invest in the boot covers as well - well worth it.

I wear a Rev'it jacket that has a removable wind/water proof lining. I also have a rain/wind proof Fieldsheer jacket with a removable liner that can be worn alone. It's very warm and looks good as well. I wear Joe Rocket pants that have a removable water proof liner.

Wet Leathers...ugh

Leathers do nothing for you in rain but get wet and heavy, take days to dry then they are stiff.

If you want all in one gear probably should go to textile jackets & pants. First Gear, Tour Master, Scorpion, Joe Rocket all make a really good all in one jackets, they also have pants.

I have Frogg Toggs, they are warm too, but stylish NO. Feel like a frog in them, mine are black with reflective tape. but wow they are waterproof and go over my leather jacket if needed. Had to get boot covers too. Hate wet feet.
