Raingear for Women

by Robin C
(Michigan)

I am 5'2" and weigh about 100 lbs. I am trying to find a good rainsuit that will actually fit me. I am aware they are cut to fit over gear, and am not expecting a snug fit, but the one I purchased (size XXS) is at least a foot too long and is so roomy my husband can wear it over HIS gear. Does anyone have suggestions for me? It seems most are cut for men, and the "Frogg Toggs" that are cut for women only go to a size small which they say is a 6-8. I wear a size 0-2, and am afraid of purchasing another useless set online. The shops around me that carry gear don't have anything that will fit.

You might check out the Tourmaster Sentinel jacket and pants. They are purchased separately so you can buy a jacket that is a different size from the pants. I also think they run a bit small.

Raingear

Maybe try raingear for children. Just beware because some, like Frog Toggs, don't have heat resistant material on the lower leg. I learned from experience by burning holes in mine. I made myself a lower leg gauntlet to cover the area until I replace them.
