putting the bike on its kickstand

So I just got a 2001 Suzuki Katan 750, and I want to put it on its secondary kickstand that raises one wheel of the ground but can't seem to manage to get it up onto it. Is there some technique I should use? Let me know. Thanks!

Here's how we do it on other bikes
by: Jenny

Standing on the left side of the bike, put your right foot on the center stand and grab onto a sturdy part of the rear of the bike with your right hand. Your left hand is on the handlebar. Then push down on the center stand with your right foot and pull up and back with your right hand at the same time. That usually does it.

This is how my partner has gotten two different bikes (different makes and models) onto the center stand, but it's not specifically for your bike. If your bike has a special trick, I don't know anything about it.

Good luck!
