Practice-Practice-Practice!

by Laura
(Hendersonville, NC)

After a couple of rides on back with my husband, I knew that being a passenger wasn't for me, (Yes, a control freak!)I took my daughter and went to a MSF course. Then I bought a bike like I rode in class, 535 Virago, and then after some experience, got a Vulcan 800, and now have a V Star 1100, which is the most comfortable ride yet. I am very short, 5', so my husband and I had to do some mods. Trimming down the seat was very easy, and lowering the frame was also. Also I bought the CD "Ride Like A Pro" and was worth every penny. Just watch the clip on the website, it will amaze you. I also love to read all the motorcycle mags that we get, I read them cover to cover, you will learn a lot that way as well. Enjoy every minute!
