Hey, I was wondering how many questions the permit test is? If you could answer that for me that would be amazing.

Permit Test

I think there were 25 questions and you could only get 6 wrong. I passed this too i think by the skin of my teeth but I passed. Make sure you know the ticketing, permit stage and drunk driving offense levels (all in the very back of the book - gray boxes - at least in Mass) and the road signs. If you drive a car, you pretty much will know most of it but I think the first 5 or 6 questions were on the driving offenses for a motorcycle permit and second or third offense of driving under in influence. There was also a question on a sign that I never have seen in Mass. Two curved arrows, pointed down with a serated line going vertical through the middle of the arrows. Technically I've never seen those arrows - I have seen straight arrows but never the curved. Good luck!

Learners Permit
by: Danielle

I just took the Nebraska Learners Permit test last week and it was 25 questions. Some were in the drivers manual they give you at the DMV but the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Handbook helped the most. Good luck!

Permit Test
by: Sandra

I really don't remember...for my PERMIT at the Dept of Motor Vehicles I think we had like 11 to 15...pretty common sense questions.

For the actual Motorcycle Safety Foundation where we got our endorsement, there were a LOT...

BUT at the Motorcycle Safety Foundation website if you poke around, there is a sample test you can take on-line.

Good luck!
