New Rider: Need Riding Partner Near Cheltenham, MD

I bought my first sport bike, 2010 Ninja 250r, in May of this year and passed the MSF course in June. I have rode around the neighborhood a lot and went up and down the main streets a few times, but I have yet to take a real ride. I am nervous about riding alone and when I do ride I have a friend follow me in their car. I want to build up my confidence to get out on my own but I need to get comfortable with riding in general first. I only know male riders and they don't like going under 100 mph so I choose not to ride with them. Are there any female riders interested in riding around town. I live near Upper Marlboro, MD. I would love to take a real ride before the summer is over and get some miles on "Sasha". That's my bikes name :) I appreciate anyone who can help me.
