My First Bike - CBR 125

Honda CBR 125

Hello! So I just bought this in March 2010, a Honda CBR 125. Small bike, but good enough for me to start on! I bought it before I even had a learners license, because I was so excited. I did better on the exam than my hubby did by the way!! But now my husband and I can cruise around town together...something special! I'm not quite ready to get my full license yet, but I will soon!

My Bike

Thanks everyone! I am about 5'3"! My feet touch the ground quite comfortably, but not totally. My heels are off the ground just a bit.

I'll probably get something bigger next year, but for now, this is enough!

Advice for 4ever Young

I started a year ago on a Honda Rebel 250 (BTW - I'm 5'4) and it felt stable enough since it has a fairly low seat height. I bought a Suzuki SV650 in the fall and after riding it for a couple hundred miles and almost dropping it twice. I had it lowered two inches so that my feet are flat on the ground when I stop. The procedure is reversible if I ever feel I want it higher again, but for now while I'm still learning it's one less thing I have to think about.

Wow! Looks pretty good for a 125! I have a Ninja 250, and it rides pretty well. Congratulations on your new toy :)
