2010 Moto Guzzi V-7 Cafe

When I decided to start riding my husband asked me to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course I said sure and then he told me he would take it with me. I thought what a great guy he's been riding for over 40 years and he's willing to take a beginner course with me, it was a great way to spend a weekend I learned a lot. I have now owned 4 motorcycles and each bike has been a lot of fun but I love my Moto Guzzi it's a v-7 CAFE 2010. My husband took me to the dealer to check out the new V-7 classic, I walked in the door and fell in love with the Cafe instead, I bought it that day. I have always loved the cafe style, this bike is great in the twisties and at 5'2" I can reach the ground with both feet. Having a 27" inseam it's hard to find a bike I like that I also can feel comfortable on. I had a Triumph Bonneville and loved it but was on tip toe whenever I stopped. With my Guzzi, I feel confident, I spend a lot of time riding alone so confidence is a really good thing. Well I ride the Blue Ridge Parkway all the time it's a nice ride no matter what direction I head and I always have a great time taking pictures and meeting people. It's amazing the looks you get just being a woman but for me when the helmet comes off and they see white hair it's fun to watch their expression change to shock.

Thanks Anna,

I hope you have as much fun on your bike as I have on mine. I even ride to work most days so after work I can just go for a relaxing ride.

So get out and ride have a good time and be safe.

Great Looking Bike
by: Anna

Congratulations getting bike of the month.

You have a great looking bike. What a beautiful place to ride. It must feel good being a head turner. My husband said my bike will be a head turner being a 1975.

It just got through the safety course and can't wait for the day I can take mine out on the road and feel comfortable.

Happy safe riding.

Cafe
by: Lois

Hi Sandy, Yes I love the cafe's I just wish I were tall enough to ride a Triumph Thruxton I am absolutely mad for that bike. My local dealer keeps telling me he can lower it, but we both know I already have 2 bikes and can't afford another one, at least not yet.

Love your bike!
by: Sandy

Hello!

I love your bike, it looks like a blast to ride! I have also become obsessed with cafe racers and would like to buy one in the near future! I have two kids in college right now, so I'm trying to justify spending more $$ on a hobby, especially since I already own one bike, a 2009 Kawi versys....my risky side is saying "just go for it!" While my conservative side is saying "better wait awhile..."

Happy Riding!!!

Sandy
