My name is Susan Weber and I'm an Executive Director of the Little Bug Foundation. The Little Bug Foundation is a non-profit organization that was formed in memory of Christian Eilam Sorenson who was granted his Angel Wings on July 1st, 2009. In his six years, eleven months he received a heart transplant at 9 days old, battled organ rejection and ultimately lost his fight to get a new heart because he first had to conquer Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease (PTLD) , a cancer that only solid organ and bone marrow transplant recipients can get. The Little Bug Foundation is hosting it's first fundraiser the 1st Annual Christian Eilam Sorenson Motorcycle Ride, "Thundering towards the FALL of PTLD." The ride will begin and end at Kiowa Fairgrounds and travel time is approximately 2 hours. The cost per bike is 35.00 dollars, which includes a bandanna and lunch. We will also be having a silent auction from multiple vendors (i.e. Mile High Harley Davidson and other local businesses) as well as live entertainment.
