ladies jackets plus size other than black or pink

I am a size 20 in the real world but am having a hard time finding a ladies armored jacket that fits. I can find many of them in black and pink but I live in Mississippi and it is hot and very humid 3/4 of the year. I am looking for a lighter color to help with the heat in the summer. My helmet has red black silver and white in it and my bike is all black. I have been to leatherup.com and cruiser customizing. I can find a few but they really dont give the proportions for their sizes. I have a 52" chest and most sites dont have a size chart and by what they consider a large the 20 would not fit anyway. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great fitting jacket

Just purchased a Can Am Voyager jacket. Fits like it was tailor made for me. I ride a Silverwing, I'm 5'2, 240, wear 22/24 jeans. I've purchased a dozen jackets, They look real pretty sitting on hangar in closet because they don't fit right. This one fits, is comfortable, warm but not hot. I don't know how I've ridden this long without this jacket.
Can Am seems to get it. Women riders, especially big girl riders, want to wear jackets too.

ladies jackets

Well I finally found a Jacket that was not a mens jacket or made me look like a linebacker. Went to our local Harley store and tried some on. I ride a Honda but the HD logo wasnt that in your face on this jacket.. It is purple and black mesh. It is so light it feels like a long sleeve tshirt over my clothes. I bought the armor and put in the pockets for the shoulders elbows and back. You still cant feel them when riding. It is so comfy and very cool for riding in the HOT Mississippi summers. It will do for me for 3 seasons with a hoodie under it and will use my other heavy jacket for those couple of months when it gets cold here. Thanks for all the advice.

If you want a jacket in ballistic fabric with armor and lots of great pockets and venting I found one for you. It also comes in a variety of colors. I was looking for a non-leather, armored jacket that would fit my 48 inch chest and thick waist. I found a brand called Girl Gear. Their GG2 jacket comes in a 2X that should fit you. I got the XL and it fits snug, but I will be losing weight. Do not try to go with the GG1 because of the clearance price. It is a much tighter fit and will not work for us. Just google "Girl Gear motorcycle jacket". I think that there is a real market niche for a company that would cater to us fluffy ladies with quality motorcycle gear. It's a real blow to the old ego when gear doesn't even come in our size.

I agree, Jammin Leather.com. I too am a 2X and have found a pretty good fit from there...actually they are a bit big. Also, Scorpion jackets at 2X fit like a glove - Motorcycle Superstore.com.

Before I lost weight, I bought fieldsheer jackets size 18 with no problems. You can always catch them on sale at www.motorcycle-superstore.com. I have a mesh jacket that I wear in the summer from them with armor protection but very breezy. Good luck.

I'm about the same size as you & have bought several jackets only to find them too small & had to return them. I have a leather jacket w/ zip out liner from Jammin Leather size 2X Plus Size that fits even a tad big. They have 2X plus & 2X regular,completely different sizing. I also have an Olympia textile jacket size 3X, mesh-lined & removeable armor & liner that fits nice, too. Hope this helps.

I have a white leather fieldsheer jacket. It is discontinued but found one on ebay. Chest is 42 inches and it's a size 16.

Good luck. I found that Harley Davidson has some larger sizes and I have a white/pink from them. On ebay there is a white/red mesh one available too.
