My wife will begin riding on the back of our bike soon. She is 4'-10" and an athletic 110#. We have tried several woman's XS jackets but they are long in both sleeve and torso. She measures 23.5 from middle of her back to the wrist. Not sure how to measure torso but suffice to say, short. Iron Pony in Columbus had a textile youth small by Tour Master and was a good fit in length of sleeve and torso but tight in chest and waist. A medium would have worked maybe. Tried a First Gear ladies XS and it was too long. When she pulled the jacket waist to her waist the chest and shoulders bunched up, but that convinced her mesh was for her. We want her to be safe and comfortable.

Anyone experienced good luck for someone that small?

She tried on First Gear XS and the torso is too long. When she pulled the "waist" of the jacket up to match hers the chest & shoulders were bunched up and uncomfortable.

I to am a petite woman, and wear a small. I purchased my jacket and chaps from Fox Creek Leather. I called and they took my measurements over the phone and both pieces fit perfectly. Everything they make is high quality, very heavy, and Made in the USA. Customer service was exceptional.
