I-90 near Snoqualmie Pass

Going home from a trip to Montana to visit my father. The chair was loaded with gear, and I was chugging along, with my uber-friend Sonny behind me, riding his BMW/chair combo. He's sort of crazy with a camera and I had no idea he took this until we stopped and he showed it to me.

Beautiful scenery, isn't it? The Cascade Mountains, in my opinion, can hold their own against any on Earth, especially in the Summer.

Beautiful Northwest

I second and third all of the comments about the Pacific Northwest! Born and raised in Washington state, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else! I live on a popular motorcycle touring route on the Olympic Peninsula. It's hard to believe that my regular ride to work is considered a motorcycle touring destination!

Hwy 20

Absolutely--the North Cross is one of my favorite roads, especially up by Washington Pass. And the Canadian ride from the Vancouver area to Kelowna is utterly amazing!

No doubt about it---the Pacific Northwest is fantastic riding...(even the east side of the state) 8^)

Cascade Mountains - Highway 20

I agree, but the real stunning show of mother nature is when you're riding 20 in the N. Cascades, it really is overwhelming to see just how beautiful our corner of the earth is...along with the section in SW WA where you have the "trifecta" of Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, and Mt. St. Helens. I can't imagine living in a nicer place than here. The riding is terrific in these mountains too...get off the freeway for the best of it!
