I Ride Because I Want To

I am 52 and I love to ride my bike. It's cheap, so even on my budget I can have some fun. In fact I like it so much that I have taken the insurance off my van.

I first learned to ride four years ago when I was in Taiwan teaching English, where I stayed for two years. The traffic there was crazy and I was terrified, I learned to ride only because I had to.

By the time I returned to Canada,I was addicted to bikes, so bought another almost as soon as I got off the plane, and have been riding since.
