I have a Honda VLX which occassionally slips out of 2nd gear (back into neutral) within a second or two of the upshift. I figure something in the transmission gears is wrong. What is it?

Maybe....

It could be possible that you're not shifting completely into second. If this isn't the case, then your dealership/wrench should check it out.
