How do I choose the right motorcycle for me?

Hello,

I know this subject has been talked about throughout the website, yet I feel I'm still unsure about what is most important. I had thought, from fear, to buy a Vespa and be done with it. But the truth is I want the real thing...

I am small built... About 110 pounds and 5"4 and I'm wondering what kind of beginner bike someone of my body time should get.

Choosing a Bike

First you have to get out there and sit on as many bikes as you can. Are you prepared to trade up? because if you get something very small you will out grow it. The best advice is don't let someone else tell you what to get, do your own research and follow your heart you will fall in love with a bike and that will be it. I started on a Suzuki TU 250 it was great for around town to small for the highway, I bought a second bike a Triumph Bonneville great bike but taller and a lot heavier, I traded the two in and bought a Ninja 500 it's a keeper. I also have a Moto Guzzi V-7. I like the ride of both bikes so I have 2 and who knows maybe I'll end up with a few more I just like the differences in the ride.
