I may add to the above comment, to also check your manual for amount of oil, as you do not want to overfill. You should have an eyeglass, somewhere on your oil pan, or other indication for oil level.

Warm the engine (to thin the oil).
Set a catch pan under bike.
Remove the oil filter.
Remove the oil drain plug.
Loosen the dipstick.
Let oil drain (if you don't have a bike stand it helps to just sit on the bike and hold it upright for a few minutes once most of the oil has drained).
Replace oil drain bolt.
Replace oil filter (rub a little oil on the rubber ring on the filter).
Refill engine oil (be sure to check your manual for quantity and type).
