HONDA SHADOW 750 TRIKE

by Barbie Scott
(Okanagan Valley BC Canada)

AFTER

AFTER

AFTER BEFORE Tore apart and waiting for the new paint job and trunk

This is my Honda Shadow Areo 750 2008
I love it. Its the perfect hight for me and low to the ground. A bit longer then most bikes but lots of room to stretch if your a tall gal like me.
I did have a bit of a mishappen, Then everyone wanted me to stop riding. Well when I was hurting I was thinking that it was a good ride. But i knew I was not ready to stop. So I added a Trigg Trike kit to it. Got it all painted up and when I ride I am so comfortable and no need for me to put my feet on the ground. Another advantage is that I am never alone. There is always someone who comes up to talk to me about my baby.
Girls if you crave attention just get a trike or convert your bike into one. If you are unsure of your ride and don't ride because of your doubt, convert it. I have put over 10,000 kmh on my trike this year alone,
I love it, and now am planning a trip down to the Grand Canyon. And I am going to do it, Alone or with anyone who wants to come.. But it will be done.
Right now it is in the shop and getting repainted and I am putting a large trunk on the back and taking the back seat off.
I can hardly wait to see the end results

Hi, Aren't they great??? after things happen and you face your challanges. Then comes the time to get back on the road. I applaud your need to get back where you belong.Do post a picture of your pretty..
My bike is not that large as a 750 but I can sure keep up with the big guys. and loving it. Yes so much that I had put all those kil. on.
I belong to a group of riders here in the Okanagan and we are meeting next week to begin our planning for a ride to Sturgis SD. I am so looking forward to it. I checked google maps and it is just over 1700k We will take a few days, but oh what a summer we have coming up.. Just wish it would hurry..

Your trike looks great.I have a 2001 honda goldwing trike called monarch, made by lehman trikes.it is a 1800cc goldwing.I lost my legs a while back, from riding my two wheel bike.Rather then not riding a bike at all I went and got myself a trike.I love my trike so much that even if I had my two legs back,I would never go back to a two wheel bike.I love my trike.

Barbie,
First of all you live in a beautiful area of Canada. I have been there and just love it. Congratulations on your beautiful Trike.
I ride a Ural side car. You are right about attention. We call it the UDF(ural delay factor). Lots of people stopping to talk to me wanting to know about my bike . It sounds like you the Honda trike delay factor too. When I go to the store or get gas people always talk to me. Happy and safe riding to you.

What a great idea. It looks really snazzy. You put a lot of k's on this season. I am hoping to put lots on next year. I am in Ontario so the bike is away for the winter.

Enjoy

Katie
