I recently purchased an 85 Honda Rebel, in great shape and well maintained. Only has 5200 miles (now 5250) As part of the "ritual" I of course dumped it 2x already. One of these caused the gear shift lever to break, at which time I found out it had been welded once before. It took a while, but finally I tracked down the parts. (I live in NY and I had to order from WA.) If anyone has any sites or info for old/vintage parts, please pass it on.

I found some on Ebay for my 81 Hondamatic.

But I was lucky that I have a local dealer that was able to find most everything I needed that he had to order for me.
