Honda 750 Shadow Aero 2007

My 750 and My Grandsons

This bike was a perfect fit for my 5'2" inch frame. I originally sat on Spirit and found the foot pegs had my legs stretched out to far.

The 750 is a good starter bike enough motor and good handling to keep up with the large cruiser, but still small enough not to intimidating. One thing for sure with this mid size bike, you stay on top of your ride changing gears and using both brakes for better handling.

I will soon be ready to move up to something a bit bigger for our cruises to the mountains of NC. I have logged over 10,000 miles with no maintenance problems in the last 10 months.

The only down fall, and it was literally a down fall, was the distance to let out the clutch smoothly. My husband had to adjust a bit of play into the lever to ensure smooth take off and doing so eliminated "popping" the clutch for me.

Honda 750
by: Tracy

Hey, I am from the great state of NC, I am in coastal NC (Emerald Isle). I have a Vulcan 500, it is a great bike and very peppy but I have considered the Honda 750. My husband has the Shadow 1100 and I have keeping up with him off the starting line. I am 5'3" and about 120#s, I have sat on the 750 however it seemed a little wide. Had you ridden smaller bikes prior to your 750?
