My husband surprise me with her one day! I wasnt expecting her because he always talked about gettin me a bigger bike, but I love her.Hopefully my next bike will be a roadking or a softtail! Nomatter what u ride be safe and have fun!

Choke answer (maybe)
by: Colleen

Hello -

I have a 2005 883 XLC - she's cold blooded too. What has worked for me- pull out the choke the whole way - pump the throttle 2 full times, then turn it on with just the start button. (not throttle and button) sometimes I have had to do button then throttle but usually the first way works. Let her warm up for a few minutes with choke all the way out in Neutral. Then off you go!

I love your seat and back rest - looks like the version I want. I have the Mustang seat with all of the studs, but no back rest. When I find 400 dollars laying around I'm going to get the one with the back rest.

have fun out there!!

Sporty

I have a 2001 Sportster 883. It is a tall, slender bike as opposed to squat. I bet when you get the feel, everything will fall in place. It's an easy bike to ride. Though I'm not sure it'll ever be a great bike for long trips. Others have feedback on this?

Sweet looking bike

I have a 2000 Sporty 883cc with some added on accessories, the 883 is adequate on power even though a bit more would be nice. Yours should be a bit smoother than mine since they went to a rubber mount engine in 2004. After you get use to the bike you will find that it handles nice. Enjoy and ride safe.
