I am thrilled to have found your site...hours of Great reading!

I, too, have become fully engulfed in this sport. I started riding 3 years ago, which led to starting a local chapter of Women in the Wind (which has 33 members 1 year later!), and leaving my job as a naturalist to open a motorcycle gear, gifts and accessories shop that is ALWAYS on the lookout for classy stuff for female riders (there is plenty out there for the size 2 under 20 crowd!).

I'm working on getting motorcycle rentals for the 2009 riding season as I am located in a very scenic area with winding roads in southern Ohio.

This year I also became the Ohio Regional Manager for MotorcycleTraveler.com, a great website that is new and growing to help people travel across the U.S. and be "in the know" when it comes to where to ride, eat, visit, and stay!

Anyways, thanks for letting me share my story...and thanks for sharing this site- again it's packed with great info!! And it's nice to 'meet' a kindred spirit that is excited (my kids say obsessed..) about women and motorcycling.

Happy 2009! I'm off to read more on your site!
