Granny Biker

I got the best Christmas present from my partner....A Honda 750 Shadow Low Rider. I have been riding all sorts of bikes since I was 12 years old. I built a 500cc Honda soft-tail chopper with a 13 degree rake and a 13 over girder. Painted her fuchsia pink with yellow daisies. Rode her for 2 years; rode her for the last time the day before my son was born and sold her two weeks later. Impossible to ride on the street with a young child. Continued to ride dirt bikes and quads. However, feeling the open road, curves and beautiful sites in nature kept haunting me. Christmas of this year--my partner surprised me with a "grown-up" bike. I am only 5'2" tall--the slung low frame of the low rider lets me feet touch the ground and I know she will be a dream to ride. I live in Ohio and the bike was delivered in 23 degree weather. Can't wait for spring to feel her grace and power.
