Gloves, gloves anywhere?

by Taylor

Hey ladies, I've been shopping around for gloves & wanted to know if anybody has a particular brand/type that they use. I ride a 2002 zx-12 & am looking for some leather gloves. Preferably those that would fit the hand of a female rather snugly so that I don't have issues with taking them on/off. If you had any suggestions I'd be ecstatic!

Thanks!

Don't laugh, but my favorite gloves are black leather ladies gloves that I found at J.C. Penney's. They have GoreTex in them and are great for riding any time of the year. My hands are real small & I have yet to find a pair of gloves that are better than these.

I have a pair of Triumph winter gloves that fit nice and a pair of Alpinestars leather women's gloves. Try your local dealer if they don't have women's gloves, let them know that's what your interested in. I'm lucky we have several dealers in the area and they are happy to please you.

I use rockytopleather gloves. They come in all sizes. I have the black flame fingerless gel glove and the Gel palm cruiser glove. I always bring three gloves with me. Women s Gel Leather Glove is my favorite. I love the way it fits my hand.

I love the ones w/gel palms. They absorb the vibrations that otherwise tire my hands, elbows & arms.

the hardest thing about buying gloves is that they all fit differently. So go to a leather shop and try every pair that you like on and even different ones of the same style. I found the best place to try gloves on is a motorcycle show or rally as they have lots of vendors there. I have a hard time finding gloves to fit as I have really long fingers and a wide hand but narrow wrist so most finger are too short.

I have probably 10 pairs of gloves all leathers and I tend to bring with me on a ride at least three counting the ones I am wearing. I also found that for cold weather riding I bought a pair of neoprene liners like the ones that the white water rafters use and put them under my gloves and me hands are toasty.

Good Luck!
