Gloves for Basic Rider Course

by Jen

I am going to be taking a Basic Rider Course and gloves are required. I don't have a pair of motorcycle gloves...but I do have an old pair of Rawlings gloves. I know they are used in baseball, but they are mostly leather...would this be alright for the course?

As long as the gloves are form fitting and you have full range of motion with your fingers, batting gloves should be fine. I've used them and haven't had any problems out of them.

Good luck and have FUN taking your Basic Rider Course. Expects some drops, falls, and oops here and there - it's gonna happen but it's all good - everybody does and it will make a better prepared rider out of you.

ENJOY! :-)

Any full fingered gloves will do. I bought cheapo batting gloves from Walmart and liked them so much, I still use them. For $18, you can't beat it. I bought mine in the kids section.

Gloves for your riding course need to be full fingered, leather does works best.

Your will also need over the ankle boots, a jacket and of course a helmet
