Gas Fumes

I have recently bought a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C50. Runs great. The only problem I noticed is, once I filled the tank up with high octane, I noticed I can smell the gas fumes. There appears to be no leaks anywhere. The smell comes from just around the gas cap. No leaks there either. It appears to be on right. Any ideas. Thanks
