FUN!

by Sandi
(Louisiana)

I just started riding my husband's 750 bike a couple of weeks ago. I only started because he was deploying and didn't want the bike to sit. He's had it around a year and I didn't think I'd bother riding it.

He got me a 150cc scooter for my birthday - great gift! I'd been wanting one for years. It's still loads of fun to ride when I'm tooling around town or on a little shopping trip. It has underseat storage and a small box on the back.

The motorcycle is just fun to ride, that's the best way I can describe it. I have also had a perfect-conditions-beautiful-day ride. It was the first long ride (long for me anyway) I went on. I just went out and decided where I was going along the way. I ended up cruising along a wonderful country road, gorgeous weather, not much traffic, just enough civilization, and me having a blast. By the time I made it home, I'd ridden 60 miles! Quite an accomplishment for me and I was so proud of myself.

I won't quit now. It's just too much fun and I have the best of both biking worlds - my scooter for fun little trips and the 750 for fun, faster, more intense rides.

What a great site this is too!
