first street bike

I got my endorsement in Sept.2011 my b/f had gotten me a Suzuki Marauder 800. I rode it a few times and he found me a 01 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. This bike feels so much better to ride than the Suzuki. I think it is what feels better for you to ride. I am 5'10 and a big girl so i prefer the bigger bike. Good luck in your hunt for the right bike. Try alot to find it.

Ninja650

Hey Carol
After a few years without a street bike I only thought of the Ninja 650R. I knew I would regret getting the smaller bike. The Ninja650R was a perfect bike. The biggest difference between a 250cc bike and a 1200cc bike is your right wrist. It was a nice bike and I never regretted owning it.
