(Corona, California)

We are an all female motorcycle club in southern California. We currently have 23 riders and approx. 30 support ladies (social club). Most members ride Harleys but all are welcome. It's not the ride its the RIDE that's important. Our club chapters are in Los Angeles, Inland Empire, High Desert and Arizona. We love to ride, helping the community and the sisterhood. Much love and respect to all the ladies out there on twos, ride safe. I ride a Harley-Davidson Road Glide because of the handeling, look and comfort. What do you ride and why?

Girls who ride in Australia
by: BMW Barbe - Sydney

Hi Squeezy,

I'm part of the Sydney Dykes on Bikes (Other states have membes too), where at Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (at night) our numbers swell to up to 340 bikes to lead the parade though the streets of Sydney. But we only have about 50 members and friends come on various rides from a day to long weekends periods.

Contrary to popular belief, only a few wear leather and have harley's. It's a great way to meet new similar minded riders whose passion for the ride is akind. My best friend (Jeff and his wife) normally come on the rides as the support vehicle and he is an honourary member.

Over the next month (in our Spring/summer) we have three rides coming up supporting the general community - the pink ribbon ride for breast cancer, breakfast torque put on by the state government and motorcycle council which put on displays of the latest motorcycle safety gear, accident demonstration by ambulance/police/fire department and a 3 day ride to the Snowy Mountains (no snow at this time)for the Snowy Mountains ride (for Kids Cancer) where you can see a flock of goldwings taking the kids with cancer to lead a 15km mass ride of navy helicopters, police motorcycles, goldwings and all other partipates from all over Australia and some from overseas. We get to catch up with our other state girls (QLD, VIC, SA) - which is pretty good as they have to travel at least 1,000km to meet up with us.

We are also part of Girls Ride Out which is for every female rider, we go on rides and attend social events - they're only purpose is to ride and have fun.

Perhaps you may want to come over for a ride one day.. and I will be happy to be a tourist guide.
