End of the Rainbow

A girl on a shiny bike!

A girl on a shiny bike!

I am a very proud owner of my second bike, a Honda Shadow VT1100C, which is the most comfortable bike you would ever own. I grew up riding on the back of my neighbors Honda and have wanted a motorcycle ever since. I have asked my husband (who doesn't ride) on many occasions if I could buy a bike, and my answer was always NO WAY!! So I got tired of drooling on everyone else's bike, and then decided to fulfill my dream when I saw a candy orange Honda Rebel for sale with my name all over it! I loved it and bought it with no questions asked.......from my husband that is!!! He was so mad at me, but you know I didn't care, I had fulfilled an almost lifelong dream and I was on top of the world. I went through the same thing when I wanted a bigger bike, just recently, and I got.... "your going to do what you want to anyway!" so I did it! and bought a bigger comfortable bike that I can ride with the big boys bike. I now I know what is at the end of the rainbow!! A girl smiling on her shiny bike!!

Hubbies

I bought both of my bikes without my husband having seen them! To be fair, he totally supported me in the decision, but still..it's a FABulous feeling. And each bike was/is fantastic! In fact, I loved my 883 so much, he bought a Road King. I loved the power of HIS bike so much, I upgraded to a Dyna Fat Bob! L-O-V-E it! :)

I know the feeling.........

OH, but I must say my husband is very forgiving and supports me now. I couldn't imagine him not wanting me to ride after getting one. Please don't ever stop riding. Ride your own ride and live your own life...............

Ride on!
