2006 Suzuki C50C 'Storm'

2006 Suzuki C50C 'Storm'

This is my baby. Her name is Storm, and she is quite the little lady. I had taken the motorcycle class and broke my shoulder on my first try. It was pouring the rain and boy did I get an education in what a high side fall was. Anyhow, I let me shoulder heal and came back and finished the class. Then my husband woke me up on Mother's day and told me he had a present for me. He handed me a card, and it read...pick yourself out a motorcycle. I was so happy. So I started looking. I knew what I wanted and it was a Suzuki C50. They were great bikes! Powerful enough to keep up with most of the big boys but light enough that I could handle it. Not to mention a low seat. I wanted a light colored one, but all of the ones that I looked at were black or blue and two toned. I finally convinced myself that I really did like the black and chrome one.

I was in the process of signing the papers for a 2009 C50 when the sales lady ripped the papers in half in front of me. Imagine my shock, lol. She said that the bike wasn't for me and she wouldn't let me be unhappy. She said she just got a trade in about 3 minutes ago and wanted me to come see it. This is the part where the heavens opened up and angels started singing because in front of my eyes was a 2006 Suzuki C50C - white with ghost flames. Exactly what I had been dreaming of!!! It had low miles too, only 3500! It was a one woman owned bike and boy did she take care of it! So needless to say, I went home with my 'Storm' that night and have been happy as a bug since. Hope this story helps someone to not just 'settle' on a bike but truly wait it out to you get exactly what you want!!!

Sweet! If I were looking for a new bike, I'd look for Storm's twin. Have fun!

Handle...
by: Anonymous

She is really excellent in the curves and doesn't feel to top heavy. She is actually a really light bike and takes turns quickly and cleanly. She has a low seat height and I feel really comfortable on her. I am only 5'2, so she fits me really nicely. She looks bigger than she feels.. She has some serious power to her and can really get up and go. I haven't had any problems keeping up with the HD Sportsters in my area. Overall, she is quick, light, and clean and handles like a dream.

I wonder how it handles? Are you planning any long trips? My husband just came home with a catalog of Suzuki Bikes and your was in the catalog. I am in love.
