Does anyone have any tips on how to fall?

by Robin
(Uganda)

Thankfully in all my years, I haven't really had a fall, but I ride off road a lot & my higher seat Honda is a fairly long way down. ={ Ha! I'm sure there are tips n tricks out there, so I was wondering if you ladies know of any how-to sites that might be a help should a moment occur. Since I live in Africa and people randomly drive on the wrong side of the road (buses & trucks being the main culprits) I have to ditch it off the road at times. So far so good. =) But I ditched a couple times last week & thought if I ever got in a fix--like the place I dived off road to was too steep or something, I'd be happy if I had a few more survival skills up my belt. Thanks girls.

Tuck and Roll
by: sassy2731

I've always been told to get away from the bike and tuck and roll. I know this works cause I had to use it. It kept me from breaking an arm and leg. Ripped the ARM out of the jacket I was wearing but didn't get a scratch or a broken bone. I went down on concrete. Just some bruises. Just remember to tuck and roll.
