Control and Respect

It's the difference between a business man and a cowboy. I'm a woman (and I am all woman) but I prefer risk-taking and reward to safe and domestic. I am also very tough, but most people refuse to see that when they see my smiling face, my short stature and heels.

I ride because I love the challenge of controlling the bike, my emotions and my body. It proves to me that I really am tough enough. I took a bad spill, but I was tough enough to get back on and do it again-mastering the machine.

The other reason I ride are the people I meet and how I feel by being around them. They are people like me who chose exhilarating challenges over staid security. They see me for who I am, and they respect me. Nothing is as heady as respect from a very tough man.
