Buying Yamaha R6

im goin to buy a used yamaha R6. The seller claims it is 2009 and imported from japan. The chassis number is jyarj06e69a040724 . However, the bike body covers "fairings" look like a 2005 model.

How can i make sure of the model of the bike?
Is it possible some one changed the chassis number to make it look like a 2009 model?
How can i make sure the chassis number is correct?
can some one put 2005 body covers"fairings" on a 2009? and is it possible to put back the 2009 body fairings?

nope suzy its not the same bike, the one im looking for is in Dubai... i took it to Yamaha workshop, they figured out that it was 2005! lol

I would RUN as fast as I can from this bike. DO NOT buy it. It screams a bad deal.
