Break light

Break light won't work. Already replaced bulb and fuse. Blinkers work fine.

Trace the wiring
by: Judy

There should be one "hot" wire the bulb receives power from, and one "ground" to bare metal. If the ground wire has come loose, or there is a break in the actual wire(s) - either one - then there's your problem.

I suggest getting a FACTORY (not Clymer's or other aftermarket manual, which can be more generic than the factory one) manual. It should have a comprehensive wiring diagram to tell you what color wiring is supposed to be to the bulb and allow you to trace it properly for shorts and bad connections.

Good luck!
