BMW 1150R 2001

I picked my BM as I wanted something bigger than the BMW 650 CS, which was a great little bike. My hubby has a BMW 1150GS and with our two young sons (12 & 14), I wanted something bigger to tour Europe with and this fitted the bill. It is very comfy and has a seat like an armchair. I had my seat shaved to fit me. Cheaper than changing seat altogether. Very reliable, stable and fast. I use it daily to commute to school, it has all the luggage space to carry my bits and bobs, including laptop. Overall its brilliant, I have tried several other bikes, but i am not changing this one.I have done 17500 miles on it since September 06.
