My bike idles and revs great and does well in first gear but dies as soon as I shift into second gear.

Why does my bike stall during riding in the rain, but is smooth during fine weather?

Is this a new bike ? Are you in the break in period of a new bike then the transmission needs to be looked at.

Is this an older bike? Can it be something in the transmission.

Or is it driver shifting error?

Just a few ideas.

How fast are you letting out the clutch? And are you giving it enough gas when doing so. Your revs should be pretty high when you are releasing the clutch and it should be at the relative speed of the bike, so not dead slow but not popping it out either.

Just asking, cause that is a weird problem from a bike mechanical perspective.
