Battery life - lesson, $80.00

by Gina
(portland,, OR)

To all new riders I just found out the hard way that your battery on motorcycle does not charge at slow speeds. I am having to replace it as I have not rode my bike at high enough speed to charge the battery. So listen up if you do not ride above 40mph, they you need to put the battery on a charger. I had to spend $45.00 on a charge and $80.00 for the battery. Also note till you ride consitinely over 40mph youneed to put the battery on the charge every night. I hope this information will help a new rider not make the same mistake. Ride Safe, have fun :)
