All I know is that everyone refers to the headlights as "high beams", but are there low beams as well? If so, how do you turn on each one one? I have only ever seen one switch!!!

Thank you for any advice/ answers, I am the only person I know who rides and when I shop with my boyfriend everything is directed at him, even though he has never been on a motorcycle and doesn't know anything about them! Thanks for having Her-Motorcycle... HUGE relief!

High Beams
by: Cheri

I don't know how it works on every motorcycle, but on my bike- anytime I turn on the motorcycle the "low" beam comes on and if I want the high beam on, I flip a switch on my left handlebar. I think most motorcycles (at least the newer ones) work in the same manner. Your lows are on every time the bike is on (they work as daytime running lights as well as low beam night lights) and you flip a switch to turn on your high beams.

If you bought your bike new, check your owner's manual for your switch location. If you didn't, try downloading an owners manual for your year, make model of bike from the internet to get the info you need.

Hope this helps!

Cheri (:
