Anyone ride a Yamaha VVMAX? Looking for more Standard seating and leg position.

by Katie
(Ontario Canada)

I was wondering if anyone rides a Yahama VMAX. I am riding a Suzuki 650 GSXF which I love however, I will in the next 2 years upgrade to a bigger bike for the long trips hubby is planning for us. I want a comfortable more standard seating mc and this one keeps coming up! And it looks so darn cool LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This winter we are going to hit as many Bike shows as we can this year so I can sit on all different types of bikes. I don't care if the perfect bike takes 2 years to find as my GSXF is a great bike and doing all it needs to right now. I do not like the front foot position of many cruisers!

I am tall at 5 10 larger boned!

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Katie

Love the Triumphs
by: Wanda

I love the Triumph Scrambler and Bonneville you mentioned. The Scrambler is a lot of bike for the money. It didn't fit me well, or I might have bought one. It was a little tall for me, and I couldn't reach the handlebars easily. You can ride down dirt and gravel roads with the Scrambler as well as on pavement. The Bonneville fit me well, and it is my favorite street bike. I wanted a dual sport motorcycle, so I ended up buying a BMW G650GS instead which I adore. You can't go wrong with the Triumph Scrambler or the Bonneville, though. I love the classic look of those bikes! Good luck. Let us know how your search turns out.

Bike

Love the VMax but I LOVE my Ducati Diavel. Nice seating position, not a cruiser but not a sport bike. We took a 2,500 mile road trip this summer with most of the miles over four days. It was a joy to ride and had a blast the entire trip.
Good luck on your search. I knew the moment I rode my bike that it was the one for me. I really hope you are able to find a dealer that will let you test ride before you buy. It sealed the deal for me.
