Bar Snake

Try this instead: Barsnake.com

It is a anti-vibration rubbery material that you slide into your handlebars - they make a liquid version if your cables are inside your handlebars. I know lots and lots of off-road riders who swear by it, and I've ordered it for myself...I wish they made one for under my seat. Doesn't take all day for me to get a tingly butt from the vibration.

Gloves
by: Sassy2731

I have always rode with the Olympia Sportster Gloves since day 1. I started getting worried because they were starting to wear holes in them. Then after not riding for a couple of months I opened my bags on my bike and OMG they were mildewed. My favorite summertime gloves. I took them in and washed them with soapy water and laid them out to dry under a fan. This worked and I got my gloves back. But it got me to thinking that maybe I should find a new pair just in case as I hate to ride without my gloves because my hands get sore and even blistered without them. I got on the internet and looked up Olympia gloves and wow I found them and ordered myself 3 more pairs which should at least last me for 15-20 more years of riding. I love these gloves because they have padding where needed but still have air hole vents to keep your hands from sweating so bad. You may want to try them out. They only come in men sizes so I ordered the XS. The website where I found them is https://www.motorcycle-superstore.com But like someone else said on here that everyone has their own preference but I do recommend these for the ladies.

Posture?
by: Sandra

I have also noticed that my hands tire more quickly when I'm slouching on my cruiser rather than engaging my abdominal's...as soon as I feel like hands and shoulders are fatiguing, I do a posture check. Once I pull my abs in and roll my hip bones forward a bit, there's a HUGE difference in the stress I was putting on my arms and hands.

Gel Pad Gloves
by: Anonymous

Olympia makes some gloves with gel pads that might help you. You can do a Google search for Olympia motorcycle gloves and see what you find. Olympia makes ladies and mens sizes. I also think the handlebar grips are a good thing to look into. Another suggestion would be to have the spline alignment checked on the front end; it is possible to put together out of phase which will cause excess vibration. Not sure what king of bike you have. Best of luck with finding a solution that works for you.

Or Anti-Vibration Grips?
by: Fiddler

Perhaps anti-vibration bar ends and/or grips would be of help too?

I had hand pain with what I thought were decent leather and mesh summer gloves. I identified where the pain was and eventually purchased leather gloves (Revit) that fit better in the areas where my hands were bothering me. That solved the problem. When I rode 600 miles last weekend, my hands didn't hurt a bit.

I can't recommend gloves because we all have different hands. The gloves which I found to cause such discomfort may be perfect for someone else. My favorite gloves are by Revit and Held.
