Antique Harley Value?

by Rebecca

My father passed away 4 years ago in a motorcycle accident and one of the things I inherited was his antique motorcycle. I believe it is a 1958 American Harley Duo Glide. How do I find out its value? How would you suggest I go about selling this? On ebay? I have some photos I would like to share with you so you have more of an idea about the bike. I really look forward to your advice and hearing from you.

Personally I would not sell it on e-bay. You will not get as much out of it. I would call a local Harley dealer and talk to them about the value of it. Maybe they could give you an idea of it's value. You could post it on autotrader.com and would get more than you would on e-bay. You might also try calling J&P cycle out of Animosa, IA I know they have a museum and maybe someone there could give you some answers. J&P's number is 319-462-3699.
