Motorcycle navigation systems - tired of relying on your ability to read a map? Want the latest technology in satellite navigation systems? Check out these GPS gadgets...............but, I'd remember to take a map if I were you.

The big "names" in portable navigation systems (that will work on motorcycles) are Garmin, Magellan and TomTom. I have asked people who have GPS why they bought the brand they have, and most say price. So, I'm always watching the prices on these, and they are definitely coming down. A few years ago, you couldn't get a navigation system to use on a motorcycle for less than $500 - and I recall those early models having a pretty steep learning curve. The GPS systems are now much smaller, and much easier to use. I'm still going to watch the prices.............
