2006 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe

by Nanci Rogers
(Montague, CA USA)

I live on the California/Oregon border in the valley where Mt Shasta creates some strong winds. On some windy days I was unable to go for enjoyable ride on my light weight bikes as I was all over the road. I then chose to go for a heavier bike and added a batwing front fairing. I lowered the seat by 2 1/2" and added pull back handle bars. It is now a shorter persons bike. The V-4 motor is exceptionally smooth and can last well over 150,000 miles. Windy days? Cold days? With my heated gear, no worries here!
