2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 500

My 06 Kawi Vulcan

It took me a lot of courage to get my own bike, so this Kawasaki Vulcan 500 was perfect for me. It has great get up and go, and keeps up on interstates like it was nothing. The weight is light and the seat height perfect for my 5'2" frame. I never feel overwhelmed by it, but it's got enough power so I don't feel like I'm riding a scooter either (no offense to scooters)..

In a few years I plan on going a little bigger..probably the Vulcan 900. But for now, me and my bike do just fine!

Vulcan 500 Owner As Well

I got an 09 Vulcan 500 last September and I absolutely adore it. I'm only 5'4" so height was something I was definitely looking at and width. I test rode a V-Star 650 and it just felt way too wide! I checked the Kawasaki site for 2010 500's and haven't seen anything on there as of yet, I hope they continue to make it, it's a great bike!
