2006 Honda Shadow Aero 750

by Diana
(Vicksburg, MS)

I rode dirt bikes from age 10-16. I wanted a street bike to go to school and back but parents said no. got a camaro instead then a mustang. got married had the minivan and soccer mom days. now they are in college and my husband wanted a dual sport bike but we compormised and got a Kawi 900 LX. Well, we rode two-up to dallas from Vicksburg, ms. I know why they call it the BITCH seat. By the time we got there I had had enough. He bought me my Aero for Christmas and we have been riding together since. I am so happy. I have wanted a shadow since I was 16. It fits me perfect and I am very comfy on it. I am 5'3' without my boots on so it was hard to find one that I could touch on. I have a 27" inseam. Can't go wrong with a classic. I ahve put over a thousand miles on it in 4 months. Can you say I love to ride.

2011 Heritage Softail Classic
by: Softail Glitter

Summer 2011 I got off the back of hubby's Softail and got one of my own. I have a 2011 Heritage Softail Classic, maroon, gorgeous, blinged out with more to come! I had it lowered before I brought it home as well as had them add a reach seat that made it fit me perfectly. Hubby also added new pipes last month. I am almost satisfied, oh heck, I will always be wanting to add something, it is just fun. I have put almost 5000 miles on it since i got it last July. It goes in for a 5000 mile check up soon.

Me too!
by: Mary

Completely agree, I LOVE my Shado, I have the exact same one...white/silver. Husband added a trunk with working tail/brake lights for extra storage and for a better back rest for when the kids go out with us...gonna have to do something with the seat back there tho, my 9yr old was complaining about his butt! LOL! Shiney side up!

Shadow
by: Yvonne - NC

I've had my 2000 Shadow 1100 for 3 yrs now, been riding 2 because when I bought it, I had a broken leg from, of all things, a scooter wreck. I ride with my husband, who has a Kawasaki Meanstreak. We've put on over 5,000 miles since I began riding. I just love this bike, was told it may be too big, but, I've adjusted and feel extremely comfortable on it. I've ridden the Iron Mountain Rd in the Black Hills and it handles great. Intend to do a lot more riding, there's nothing like it. Don't forget, keep the shiny side up.
