2005 Harley Davidson Sportster 883XL

Yahoo! My first motorcylce! I really wanted a Harley, that is what I have always ridden (as a passenger), my hubby has a Harley and well, that was just my first choice. The price of a Harley almost put me into another bike, as I wanted to pay cash and as little as possible for my "starter" bike. After much research and soul searching, I found my little red sweetheart, I brought her home on Valentine's Day. She only has approx 1,500 miles on her. She was purchased new by a young lady rider who has started a family (one young daughter and another on the way). She realized her riding days are done for now. I purchased her for $3,500.00. I had it inspected at Harley, and she is in great shape. The lady I bought her from is really happy a woman rider is going to be her new owner, and I feel really good knowing it was another lady riders first bike, it just has a great energy to it! She was lowered by the orig owner, as she is really petite (I am not, but it feels more comfortable to learn on, I will have her raise back up once I get my sea legs) Now, I am going to practice, practice, practice, and I hope by May,the first "National Women Riders Month (May 1st being National Woman Riders Day") I will be road worthy and enjoy my new girl!
