2005 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic

by Caroline Heller
(Barre, VT)

I have ridden many styles, makes and models of bikes in the last 40 years I have been riding and I love this bike! It has a detachable windshield for short trips, large saddlebags for long trips (or shopping). It will easily carry my tent and all my other needs for a two week trip (without doing laundry) sits low, is nicely balanced and you don't feel the weight of the bike. It has a nice rubber mounted 1450cc engine with plenty of get-up-and-go. I can sit in the saddle all day, for days on end and not be saddle sore. Most of all, it can look mean or tame in a matter of minutes with the detachable back pillion seat and back rest.

The Harley Heritage STC is my favorite bike, and nothing looks better than a beautiful woman riding her own rather than sitting on the back. Stay safe and ride on.
