Love the Rebel 250!

The Rebel 250 (a 2002) was my first bike, which kept me happy for two years and 7,000 miles. I loved it to pieces. Low and light enough to be forgiving, but totally capable of going just about anywhere - I even carried a 200lb guy friend on the back up and down the hills of San Francisco for a day once! She didn't like the highways much though, the top speed I ever got to was 80 mpg going down hill with a tailwind. 60mph was where she was happiest, it seemed.

Have a blast, and ignore anyone (guys usually) who start sentences with "You know the bike you should get, you should get ..."

Good For You!

Great looking bike. I had chance to buy 650cc Honda Shadow 1999. But I retook some lessons from MSF on the Honda Rebel 250. Loved relearning on the bike. Now riding my bike around getting used to it. Ride on for you and me. When I am ready, I will contact instructor to ride on highway with me.
