2002 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100

I walked into a pre-owned bike shop looking for a bigger bike. I had started on a Suzuki Savage 650. I was looking to buy a Harley because I was born and raised Harley by my dad. However, beyond the Harleys, a Victory, and a Vulcan or 2, sat my Shadow. Her style is what appealed to me most. I am a 5'6" woman and I weigh about 210... not a small girl by any means. The 883 and the 1200 Harleys just felt small....about the same size as my Savage. So, I warapped my legs around this Sahdow, and she felt right. I swear she was whispering to me "let's ride". Also, this bike had everything I wanted in my next motorcycle, and she was about 3,000 dollars less that the 1200 sportster low. I also felt very balanced with her because she has a slightly wider body style, and I didn't feel like a bear riding a turtle. When I brought her home, my Harley lovin' father said "that's one sharp critter. I think I might have to get one." She and I fit each other perfectly, perhaps that is why she chose me, and I am so happy she did.
